Got up early, Wind was onshore, Went and checked a few corners, But the swell was running past them. So headed to a spot that I knew would be catching the swell. The wind swung about 4 hours after it was predicted (kept the crowds low) to. I stayed dry for the 1st hour and rounded off a 36 shot roll of black and white film on my mates SLR with a 2x converter and a 200mm lens. nice and close to the action. Was fun to use a proper camera! The swell was almost maxing out before the tide kicked in. Not much of a crowd, Mellow lining up crew. got to love weekdays!
