Got onto the local haunts early to find the swell direction lacking, so we headed the same direction the swell was heading and found the wind chewing out the swell.

Had tio settle for the cleanest corner we could find, along with half of the coast's surfers and the local board riders comp.

The next day offered the same conditions, but smaller. Same wind though, soft glassy offshore one place, 10 kilometres away totally onshore breeze.
